I just really haven't had anything much to write about lately. I have been re-reading the Harry Potter series in preparation for the release of Deathly Hallows in July. I'm excited and a little sad that the last book is finally coming out. Since the beginning I have been really addicted to this series. In my opinion each book has been worth the wait. One of the reasons I've been doing reading other than just for the pure enjoyment of it is that it's just a tad uncofortable for me to sit at the computer for long periods right now. I got my navel pierced last Monday and it's a bit tender still but healing nicely. I figured that since I'm in the process of losing weight and I will soon want to wear clothes that show off my new fit body I would do something fun that I have been wanting to do for a while.
As I mentioned in a previous entry I have been planning to buy some of Christopher Penczak's books. I was able to buy two of them plus the CD companions for those with the trust fund check I got in March. So today I will be sitting down to start reading "The Inner Temple" and as I read I will be posting some of my thoughts on the book here in my blog when I have the time. I've decided (With a little nudge from my hubby in this direction) to read the books through once without worrying about getting started on the exercises and "homework" that he has in the books. That way I'll get an idea about whether or not I want to use his methods as part of my own practice or just for good reference material. The only book and CD set that I was not able to buy this time was "Shamanic Witchcraft". Hopefully I'll be able to add that one to my collection in the near future.
That's my update for now. Hopefully I will have more to write about tomorrow after reading some of the first book "The Inner Temple" this afternoon.

I really like Penczak's books. I think that they provide a really solid foundation to magical practice. There are many things that I read in his books that I have encountered in actual classes I have been able to take, so I always feel his work is good to recommend to people. There is an Yahoo group devoted to working through the Inner Temple right now...
SiduriI really like the Potter books, too. As a result I got hooked on The Dresden Files on the tv-now I want to read that series!
